We are a dedicated group of St. Ann’s Parishioners who gather regularly, throughout the year, to use our gifts, talents and commitment to the community to assist the pastor in making the best decisions for the parish. We provide suggestions, input, ideas, experience and recommendations to creatively address questions and challenges the parish is currently facing. Our involvement in parish life includes encouraging others to participate as we do. Through our collaboration and cooperation with the pastor and each other, we seek to develop a common vision for parish growth and seek to implement that vision in the concrete.

We are a dedicated and financially-minded group of St. Ann’s Parishioners who meet quarterly throughout the year to review and discuss the parish’s current financial status. We work in cooperation with Ms. Debra Saucier, Parish Accountant, and the pastor to evaluate current resources, develop strategies of financial planning, prudently prepare for needed projects or renovations, brainstorm concerning ideas for fundraising, consider good approaches to programs such as the yearly Partners’ in Charity Appeal, and offer suggestions about financial challenges. We attempt to help parishioners to develop an attitude of stewardship in the parish.

St. Ann’s annual Parish Yard Sale is our largest fundraiser of the year with 100% of the profit benefitting the parish. The Sale includes a large outdoor flea market and indoors features jewelry, raffles, media and food. Yearly, a group of parishioners gathers to plan the yard sale and organize Saturday morning drop-off times. The Committee reviews last year’s sale and discusses what could be done differently and better this time. It also assigns various tasks in preparation for the sale including advertising, scheduling, soliciting donations, organizing volunteers, buying materials and arranging for donated items to be dropped off or picked up, among other duties. Yard Sale Committee meetings are monthly during the several months leading up to the sale and may be more frequent, as needed, as the sale approaches. Yard Sale Committee members work together with each other and the pastor to ensure that the Sale runs smoothly and is successful.
